Jeffery Moore, PhD is a member of and advisor to Upland Analytics. Dr. Moore joined the faculty at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business (GSB) in 1972 after more than 10 years work as a Communications Engineer, Computer Systems Analyst, and Management Analyst. Until his retirement in 2010 as a Senior Lecturer, he designed and taught Business Analytics courses as a member of the GSB’s Operations and Information Technology (OIT) faculty. This included graduate-level courses in decision modeling, simulation, data analysis, and IT. In his research, he concentrated on
applications of business analytics and IT use by senior executives. He continues to consult both nationally and internationally in the strategic use of IT, evaluating the management and use of IT, and business analytic applications for decision support.
Dr. Moore received a BSEE degree with specialty in digital circuit design from the University of Cincinnati, a joint MBA/MCS degree from the Mays
Business School at Texas A&M University, and a Ph.D. in Business from the Haas School of the University of California at Berkeley. He also holds a Professional Engineer certification (E.E., Ohio).
